The Meaghan Noel Scholarship for Dance

The scholarship was established to recognize the Legacy of Salem State University dance student Meaghan Noel. Meaghan, a double major in Dance and Early Childhood Education who touched many lives at Salem State and the community with her positive attitude and personal motto: You can fall seven times, just make sure you stand up eight". Throughout her life, Meaghan expressed a desire to work with children and spent much of her time and energy teaching dance to young people in her hometown of Taunton, MA.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the dance program with preference to a student who demonstrates a history of working with children, either through childcare, assistant teaching as a part of a school curriculum, teaching dance, or other likewise endeavor.
